[su_column size=”1/4″]Hi there,
I work in a lot of different styles and bands, so here are lots of handy links for you.
These will help you get to what you want faster.
It’s all been put together with love and affection, so have a root around.
Thanks for being here.
Cheers, J. [/su_column][/su_row]
I am currently composing music for the awesome "Space Chickens In Space", (Disney EMEA, Disney Australia, Channel 9, Gingerbread Animation, CAKE Entertainment, Anima Estudios, Studio Moshi).
In 2017, I completed the music for 52 episodes of 'Kiva Can Do' from Kavaleer Productions. The show currently airs on Nick Jr. (Nickelodeon International), RTE and Lagardere TV.
Previous to that, I did the score for the 'Zig & Zag' series produced by Double-Z Enterprises, Flickerpix and JAM Media, still showing on CBBC and RTE.
Before that, I worked with composer Anna Rice on two seasons of the Nicktoon US animated series 'Wild Grinders'. During that time, I composed music for Mark O'Connor's feature film 'Stalker', which was released in cinemas nationwide.
Then, I provided additional music for 'Fleabag Monkeyface' on ITV, wrote the music for the Digicel 4G TV campaign and my songs appeared on the RTE1 TV show, No Place Like Home.
I did the signature music for an anti-slave labour campaign on MTV Europe and I provide all music for the Irish Playwrights & Screenwriters Guild Awards each year.
Now.. that's my gloating completed.
Study these carefully... there WILL be a test on this.

Jonathan has composed 2 works for orchestra that have been performed to audiences around the world. 'In Spirit' and 'Steeplechase' received their premieres in 2008 at the World Fleadh in Ireland and were subsequently performed by the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra on their 40-date tour of the US, the Philharmonia Bulgarica in Bulgaria and the Percy Grainger Youth Orchestra in Australia.
He has also worked extensively with Frankie Gavin & De Dannan, orchestrating arrangements for several live pieces by the band with orchestra. One such piece was performed live on a tour of China and broadcast to millions on TV as part of the Beijing Festival.
Jonathan has also orchestrated for the rock band MrNorth, who released a live album with orchestra 'live in new york' in 2009. He also wrote the band's single, 'Whirlwind'.
